About this Event

On the third Friday of each month, we host the RVA Faith & Film Forum at the Belltower Pictures office. It’s where Richmond’s creative and film community come together for a mix of meaningful networking, project discussions, and a casual breakfast of coffee and doughnuts. Each session features an engaging interview led by Craig Martin—our president, and the seasoned host of PBS’ “The Good Road.”

We are honored to welcome acclaimed actor, director, producer, and Virginia native Tim Reid as our featured guest. Born in Norfolk and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Tim Reid rose from humble beginnings to become one of television's most recognizable and respected performers. He is best known for his iconic role as "Venus Flytrap" on WKRP in Cincinnati, as well as memorable appearances in Simon & Simon, Frank's Place, Sister, Sister, and numerous other television and film productions spanning more than four decades. Most importantly, he was part of Belltower Pictures’ beginning, as he starred in our first film, By the Grace of Bob, kicking off Scene In Virginia on July 13th at the Byrd Theatre.

Beyond his work in front of the camera, Tim has been a pioneering force in the entertainment industry. Alongside his wife, actress and producer Daphne Reid, he co-founded New Millennium Studios in Virginia, the first major film and television production studio built in the Commonwealth. Throughout his career, he has championed projects that address important social issues, celebrate African American history and culture, and inspire meaningful dialogue through storytelling.
