As one of the most critically acclaimed and celebrated independent singer/songwriters of the late 90s and 2000s, Gerson has been dubbed “an underground songwriting master,” (The San Francisco Chronicle). A completely self-released recording artist, Ruth has appeared on the “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Extra” (NBC), PBS, Showtime, HBO and Lifetime television. She has released seven albums and recorded with Grammy Award winning producer Jim Scott.
