Come join us for a day at Russell Park on Lake Georgetown!
This is one of my favorite spots for families because there's a little bit of everything - swimming, shoreline exploring, beautiful lake views, and plenty of room for the kids to play and adventure.
📍 Russell Park – Lake Georgetown
🕙 Meet around 10. No hike - just walk down to the beach.
We'll plan to spend the morning relaxing, swimming, exploring the shoreline, and enjoying the water. If anyone wants to bring paddle boards or kayaks, this is a great spot to get out on the lake as well.
Bring:
✔️ Water
✔️ Snacks or lunch
✔️ Swimsuits & towels
✔️ Sunscreen
✔️ Chairs or a blanket
✔️ Water shoes (recommended)
✔️ Paddle boards, kayaks, floats, or water toys if you'd like
If you have an umbrella or shade tent - and are willing to bring it- let me know. Thee is no shade here.
🦺 Reminder: Life vests are required by Texas law while paddle boarding or kayaking.
A few things to know:
🌿 This is a casual meetup - come and go as your schedule allows.
🌿 There are rocky areas along the shoreline, so water shoes can be helpful.
🌿 There is no shade, so bringing your own canopy or shade setup is never a bad idea.
