Rupert Wates, a London native who studied at Oxford University, has been a full-time songwriter since the late 1990s. His music is a unique blend of acoustic, melodic art/folk, with hints of jazz, vaudeville and cabaret. With twelve solo albums under his belt, Rupert has garnered rave reviews from the international online press and his tracks have been played on radio stations worldwide.
On average, Rupert performs 120 live shows each year, captivating audiences in intimate acoustic venues across the United States, Canada and Europe.
