About this Event
Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for a welcoming 3 mile group social run and walk starting and finishing at Running Niche. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just getting started, our community supports ALL paces, walkers included.
Co-owner, Running Niche Bob, assigns a pace leader for each group, welcomes first-timers, and makes sure the pace leader introduces themselves and keeps everyone together. On any given week, 30 to 70 folks participate (weather dependent). We usually have pace groups at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00 minutes per mile, plus a walking group led by co-owner Jennifer.
Meet in front of Running Niche a few minutes before 6:30 PM to check in and find your group.
📍 Route
This casual 5K loop is led by experienced runners and walkers, with pace groups to keep things comfortable and inclusive. Our spring and summer loop includes the west end of Tower Grove Park. In late fall, we switch to a route that does not go into the park due to poor lighting.
🍻 Beer Run Night
Every second Wednesday of the month, stick around post-run for "Beer Run", our monthly social featuring a cooler stocked with complimentary beverages from Urban Chestnut. Water will also be provided.
