TaSH Afternoon Social at the Ritz Cinema on Saturday the 7th of March 2pm
Join your fellow club members to watch an exclusive show of running related films and shorts on the big screen at our wonderful community Ritz Cinema in Thirsk. The films are generally of an adventurous nature, expect endeavour, endurance, achievement and thrills! Several diverse films combine to make a showreel duration of a maximum of 90 minutes. This event has been especially organised just for you, our wonderful club members so please support it. Initially we are offering you advance sales, thereafter we are inviting other local running clubs too if there is space. Don't delay - book today.
Tickets are only available via the TaSH club shop and at just £5 are even cheaper even than the usual Ritz tickets because the club is for its members and this is for you. You may purchase additional tickets for your partner/family.
There are 161 tickets available for this one-off event - a ticket gets entry but seats are not reserved as is normal at the cinema. As there may be some (very very occasional)strong language in a couple of these adrenaline charged films they have classified the collection of films as '12A' BBFC guidance states - Films rated 12A are suitable for children aged 12 and over. However, people younger than 12 may see a 12A so long as they are accompanied by an adult. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.
The cinema's kiosk will be open for sweet, drink and ice-cream sales - please support you local volunteer run cinema by buying your goodies there.
There will be a cut off for ticket sales of Friday the 6th of March at mid-night - There will be no 'on the door' sales, you must pre-book through the TaSH shop.
You will have no difficulty doing the Championship Race at Stewart parkrun, Middlesbrough the same day (morning) and getting to the LMFF show in the afternoon, you won't miss out!
