RunFest

RunFest is a community-organised mini festival. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started, there’s something here for you!

Join guided runs for every level and running-focused strength and yoga workshops. Enjoy the chaos of the Pawsome Dash and the Rave Run and compete in the epic Beer Mile relay.

• Guided runs: Join passionate and experienced run leaders on group runs suitable for everyone, from advanced runners to total beginners. Enjoy a range of routes, distances and speeds.
• Strength workshops: Take short strength and power classes designed specifically to help runners go further, faster and with fewer injuries.
• Run-focused yoga: Learn how to add mindful movement to your life – improving your flexibility, running form, warm-up routines and injury prevention techniques.

• Celebrate the summer solstice: Welcome in the year’s longest day with special runs, yoga sessions, workshops and community coffee chats.

• The Beer Mile: Gather your team of 4 for this epic relay race. Drink a can, then run a quarter mile as fast as you can. First team home wins! If that's not enough, go solo for a serious challenge.

• The Pawsome Dash: Bring your ‘good boy’ for a chaotic, utterly wholesome fun run with our furry best friends.
• Young Runs: Share the joy of running with children on routes that cover a range of distances.
• The Rave Run: A run crossed with a party! Dance and sing along on a fun group run with a portable sound system.
• Do Good Run: Head out into our community, joining a run that includes a stop to volunteer along the way.

Discover new ways to prevent and treat injury and elevate your running performance. Hear from experts on mental health and running form and from inspiring runners about how they do what they do.

• Injury prevention and nutrition: Learn from physios, podiatrists, and other physical health experts about injury prevention and treatment and how to improve your nutrition – and get one-to-one advice and assessment.
• Mastering your stride: Have your running form assessed and learn and learn from experts about the technical side of running – no matter what your goal this year.

• Insights and inspiration: Discover inspiring stories from runners who have achieved amazing things, and join sessions on wellbeing, mental health, and finding balance on and off the track.

Dive into delicious local food and drink then dance the night away to eclectic live music. Celebrate with friends new and old.

• Eat and drink well: All weekend, enjoy fresh local food, top-quality coffee and fantastic craft beer brewed on-site by Heathen Brewers.

• Feel the beat: From high-energy bands to chilled acoustic sets, soak up the festival soundtrack into the night.
