The Run to the Sea Brighton 2026 will take place on Saturday May 9th.Our breathtaking 50km multi terrain route is a thing of beauty and a real tale of two distinct halves.
From your start at the stunning Christ's Hospital school, the first half takes in the Downs Link through rural West Sussex to reach the South Downs Way.
At halfway the route climbs up onto the Downs where you'll pick up your first views of the sea. You pass the incredible scenery of Devils Dyke, follow rolling trails into the northern outskirts of Brighton & Hove, passing farms & windmills to cut through green spaces all of the way to the seafront at Hove.
Once you hit the seafront, it's a short burst to your finish on Hove Lawns.

There'll be medals & ice creams, souvenirs, prizes, a fully signed course, checkpoints approx every 10km, a nutrition drop service and a lot more.
You have the option to park at the finish end of the run (Hove) and use our pre race shuttle service to the start.
We'll have generous time limits in place, with 9.5 hours available from our first starting wave.
If the whole 50km seems too far for you, why not tackle the 50km between two of you in our relay race?
