The award winning Run to the Sea Bournemouth is back for a 7th time and takes place on Saturday October 3rd 2026.Our 50km multi terrain route is absolutely stunning. The first half using the Castleman Trailway, through lush forestry and tranquil woodlands, to reach Holes Bay and Poole Harbour.
From there you'll have amazing views over Brownsea Island and Sandbanks before you join the legendary coastal promenade for the final 12km, through Bournemouth and Boscombe to the beautiful finish at Hengistbury Head.
There's an option to park at the finish end of the run (Hengistbury Head) and catch a pre event bus to the start.
Of course, there'll be medals, souvenirs, prizes, a fully signed course, feed stations approx every 10km, and a lot more.
We'll have generous time limits in place, so you can take your time if you'd like to; this is a perfect event for runners new to the world of the ultra marathon, and a fast flat course for those chasing a time.
