Held each year across Earth Day and Arbor Day the Run for the Trees: Happy Little (Virtual) 5K encourages registered participants to complete a 5K in Florida State Parks. Registration is completed online only at floridastateparksfoundation.org. Registration closes April 1st to receive a tee-shirt, bib, & medal in the mail. Non-registered participants can still join in for the hike, but no day-of registration will be available. This 5k route is not pet friendly. Park entry fees required. Bring refillable water bottle and appropriate footwear for walking beach sand, pavement, and trails during the 3.1 mile hike. Meet at Gulf Breeze Day Use Area.
