Come and join us at our Run Banchory event on Sunday 25th August. The main events are the 10k multi-terrain race, half marathon multi-terrain race and a new 5k event. The 10k and the half-marathon events predominately take place in the scenic Scolty/Blackhall forest area. Both race routes will cater for all running abilities but will definitely be known as a good test.
The new 5k event is a generally a flat route that takes runners along Blackhall road before looping down to the riverside taking in beautiful views of the River Dee before returning to the King George V Park.
There will also be a 1k run for school pupils between primary 1 and 7. The 1k run will take place in the grounds of the King George V Park and the surrounding area. There will be medals, refreshments and a great community atmosphere!
