Put the Run 2 Read 2 miler race on your summer bucket list! This race has a long history, originally starting in the late 90s, and has been a favorite race of local runners and walkers since then!

This course is a one 2-mile loop of rolling hills through a historic West Side neighborhood. The 2-mile distance is perfect for runners and walkers or anyone looking for a fun way to enjoy a summer evening.

This race is family-friendly, so, sign up the whole family. Registered runners are invited to stick around after the race to enjoy free admission to the 12th street pool and a cookout!

This race is hosted by the Marion County Running and Walking Club to benefit the Literacy Volunteers of Marion County. This organization is a non-profit agency that believes everyone should have the opportunity to read and write. They offer a variety of programs including: summer reading programs, tutoring, community involvement, etc.

Runners can begin arriving at 5pm to pick up race bibs.
