Two sounds representing the foundations of Little Man Soundsystem in a unity style! Giraffe Soundsystem and Creativ Dubs Soundsystem, Little Man and Backyard Youths come fi bring you edutainment. Lock the date: 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓!
Before the session, we will share a short documentary with those interested, where we look deeper into the roots behind the music we play. Ital food and fresh drinks will be available at reasonable prices.
𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦:
Founded in 2008 to spread reggae vibes from all over the country. The first boxes were built by Original Frenkstar. With the help of family man Ruben (Serendipity Sound) and studio producer Solid 'Jonas' Foundation, the sound got some upgrades in size and volume. They've played alongside many sounds and artists like Earl 16, Alpha Steppa, Jonah Dan, Sir Coxsone Outernational, Brother Culture, Culture B, Vibronics, Imitri, and Rass.
𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐬:
A young collective that started collecting reggae and dub records around 2018 and has been playing on their own handcrafted soundsystem since 2021. Slowly but surely, with a conscious mind and a loving heart, they expand their experiences and connections in soundsystem culture and their musical journey.
𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬:
Backyard Youths is a Bruges-based soundsystem consisting of Sunny, Steady, Pepi, and Vvl. With their great passion for roots reggae music and the culture around it, they built their first speaker box in the early 2020s, which has evolved over the years into a fully grown, hand-built sound system. Their main goal is to spread the culture like in the golden days of reggae music, in a way that everyone can enjoy. Backyard a go boom! You better be ready!
𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧:
Little Man is a soundsystem founded in the north of Belgium, but currently based in Ghent. The first boxes were built in 2018, with little knowledge of soundsystem culture but big curiosity. Since then, the crew, collection, knowledge, and sound have grown, and now the time has come to organise something bigger!
