"Main Ghulam Hoon Uss Chand Ka" is a book of Rumi's poems Translated by Ashwin Afraad, who has dedicated the last five years to studying the life and works of Rumi.
Ashwin has translated hundreds of Rumi's ghazals into Hindi and Urdu, capturing the essence of Rumi’s poetry in a new light.
The program is thoughtfully divided into two parts. In the first half, Ashwin and Tanvi will guide us through Rumi's poetic world, sharing insights from his book and reciting Rumi's poetry.
In the second half, participants can engage with the performance by sharing their favorite Rumi poems.
The program is open to all but registrations are mandatory.
