Dear Rumi Community,
Much gratitude for the next chance to polish our living connection with Rumi!
WHEN: Tuesday December 22nd at 5:30 PM
WHERE: Cole & Ustick Library, 7557 W Ustick Rd., Boise ID 83704
Everyone is welcome to bring a Rumi poem to share in English or Persian. There will be Persian desserts and tea from Divine Lotus Tea Company.
If you know someone who would appreciate the Rumi Night experience, please share this invitation with them!
Gratefully,
Howard and the Rumi Night team
PS: At the September gathering, a ThermoFlask water bottle was left by somebody. Let Howard know if it's yours!
SOME KISS WE WANT
There is some kiss we want with our whole lives,
the touch of spirit on the body.
Seawater begs the pearl to break its shell.
And the lily, how passionately it needs some wild darling!
At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come and press its face against mine.
Breathe into me.
Close the language-door and open the love-window.
The moon won’t use the door, only the window.
