Rumi Night "Whirling Dervishes in Divine Love"

Rumi Night: Whirling in Divine Love

Experience the beauty of the Whirling Dervishes at Rumi Night, an evening of live Sufi music, poetry, and the mesmerizing Sema ceremony in San Antonio.

Inspired by the timeless teachings of the 13th-century poet and mystic Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, this special cultural event celebrates love, unity, peace, and our shared humanity.

The evening features Master Whirling Dervish Abdulkadir Dikici, who brings more than 30 years of experience performing the traditional Mevlevi Sema, accompanied by live Sufi music performed by the Raindrop Ensemble.

Whether you are familiar with Rumi’s poetry or discovering the Whirling Dervishes for the first time, this unique experience offers an opportunity to explore a centuries-old spiritual and cultural tradition through music, movement, and reflection.

Everyone is welcome!
