A few weeks ago, Rudi Swanepoel attended a peace summit hosted by Churches for Middle East Peace at the Carter Centre in Atlanta, USA. He will offer a reflection on his experiences, on justice and reconciliation, on how the world looks to South Africa in terms of the role it can play, and on the specific contribution that Christians can bring.
Rudi was born and bred as a feisty Afrikaner nationalist. After his teenage years, his life reoriented into a Christ-called response to identities and ideologies that seek to enclose rather than allow space. Rudi is a full-time pastor and a part-time author based in Johannesburg.
