Rucks On Main – Veterans Day Temple 10K Ruck March

Join us in downtown Temple at Santa Fe Plaza for the Rucks On Main 10K ruck march, a community event honoring Veterans, and our local heroes.
Participants will carry rucksacks filled with non-perishable food items, which will be donated to Temple Christian Outreach and other local charitable organizations. Event proceeds also support Veteran-led nonprofit organizations, ensuring every step taken helps those who have served our country.
How to Participate
Register as an individual, social team, corporate team, or 5-member squad. This event will be timed and you must carry up to 40 lbs of food items (suggested, not required ; but required if you want to place for a medal) Whether you want to compete or simply walk with friends, everyone is welcome.
After the ruck, participants will enjoy free food, adult beverages, music, and community camaraderie.
Check-In: 7:30 AM
Ruck Start: 9:00 AM
Event Ends: 1:00 PM

About Us:
Rucks On Main is dedicated to advocating for, mentoring, and educating our communities on the reintegration process for Veterans and their families, while fostering healing and strengthening the connection between service members and the communities they serve. Rucks On Main exists to ruck in honor and memory of our Fallen Service Members, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, and Veterans while raising funds for nonprofit organizations that support active duty military and Veterans in times of need. Twice each year, we walk together carrying the names of our Fallen comrades with us.
