RTRFM’s RADIOTHON PARTY RETURNS IN 2026 AT THE RECHABITE AND THE BIRD.
Join us and some incredible local bands and DJs at The Rechabite and The Bird on Saturday 29 August, to celebrate the station’s most important fundraising campaign, Radiothon.
RTRFM is Good For You and so is the Radiothon Party. Join us as we celebrate everything great about the station. This year’s party takes place mid-way through the Radiothon drive as RTRFM calls on the community to continue subscribing and donating. Proceeds from ticket sales help keep RTRFM on the air!
Storming the main hall at The Rechabite are a selection of some of the city’s finest acts. Check out the soul and R&B sounds of Drea, the electronic ambience of No Bride, the experimental improvisation of Phil Stroud, the explosive energy of POW! Negro & friends and the techno wonder of PTMC in live mode.
On the Hello Rooftop, Full Frequency’s Yikes & Nafta have curated a night of selectors with sets from 2000Revs, DJ Sara T, Nafta b2b Yikes b2b Riley, Sharkbae and wetpuddlss b2b Margie Rita.
And across the road and down the street at The Bird we bring you the eclectic sounds of Deep Beep, the shoegaze of Humming, the pop wonder of Navy June, the songwriting mastery of Odlaw and the rock and roll of Ursula.
Subscriptions, donations and ticket sales to RTRFM during Radiothon are essential to raise funds for the ongoing operation of the station. For tickets head to rtrfm.com.au.

The Rechabite is an accessible venue with wheelchair access. Except for the balconies in the Main Hall.
The Bird is accessible.
There will be live music which will be at a loud level. Flashing lights maybe used. No Auslan interpreter in place.
