RSR Rangers & Volunteer Fall Series: Nutritional Enrichment

Join us at Ruff Start Rescue for a Rangers & Volunteer Event on October 16th, 2025! 

Just like you, pets can get bored with their daily routine. But did you know that you can add a little excitement to their lives just by using their food? Using food toys at mealtime can provide pets with mental and physical stimulation. Nutritional enrichment provides pets with opportunities to experience new food and new ways to get to their food.

The event will start at 5:30 pm and is estimated to last ~90 minutes; we will do a brief presentation about the topic then do a fun themed activity together! When signing up, please include parents and kids in the total admission number so we have an idea of how many will be in attendance. 

Important Information:

• A parent/guardian MUST attend the event with the child
• Suggested ages: 5-12
• Ruff Start Rescue is not liable for any injuries resulting from this event
• This event will take place indoors at Ruff Start Rescue 
• There is no fee to attend, but donations are always welcome to help cover the cost of materials

Parking: We have a dirt lot to park in. If there is not room in the parking lot please park on the street in front of the rescue.
