RSPCA fun dog show and Fete

Your local RSPCA Branch welcomes friends old and new, human and canine, to its first fun dog show and fete at Great Barton Village Hall on Sunday 21 June.

The event opens at 11:30am, with dog show registration starting at 12noon and judging beginning at 1:00pm. Classes are:

Crossbreed With Character

Happiest Hound

Young At Heart (8 Years +)

Second Chance (Any Rescue Dogs)

Fabulous Female

Marvellous Male

Lovely Mover

Plus a special trophy for Dog of the Day, selected from the winners of the previous classes.

₤3.00 per class or 3 classes for ₤8 (per dog)

Winners’ prizes are being donated by Gladwells Pet and County Store, who are generously sponsoring all four of our fun dog shows this year. The Ickworth Hotel, Denbury Homes, Robinson Young, The Mortimer & Gausden Partnership, and House of Harmony have kindly agreed to be the inaugural silver sponsors of the Great Barton show.

We will have refreshments, savoury and sweet treats, luscious burgers and hot dogs from Britten’s Bites and Whippy Bros unparalleled ice cream experience. There will be a raffle, free prize draw, tombola, and RSPCA branded items, alongside craft stalls, home-made doggy treats and a canine photo caravan.

Come and talk to existing volunteers and discover opportunities to gain meaningful volunteer experiences with the Branch, from becoming a Trustee to helping at events just like this. There will also be news on how the Branch delivers animal welfare in the local area, animals available for adoption and the many other ways you can support local animals.
