What’s a Clinigatta?
It is a portmanteau combining the words clinic and regatta and it means training in the morning and racing in the afternoon.
This is your opportunity is come familiarise yourself with our RS21s with the assistance of our team. We will train for about 2 hours in the morning, practicing basic manoeuvres such as rigging, kite handling, sail controls, roll tacking and jibing, etc. We will adjust the training level to suit those in attendance.
We will break midday for lunch and a debrief before heading back to the water for an afternoon of casual racing.
Who is this intended for?
Theses are fun days on the water mixing with fellow members. If you are new to racing, or want to get a bit more practice in to brush up on some basic racing skills, this is for you. Please note this is not a learn to sail course and we are expecting sailors to know the basic concepts of sailing/racing.
