Patina Arts Centre is proud to announce the upcoming ROYGBIV Pride Palette Exhibition, a vibrant showcase celebrating the rich diversity and creative spirit of the LGBTQ community.
Inspired by the iconic colors of the rainbow – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet – the ROYGBIV Pride Palette Exhibition invites artists from the LGBTQ community to explore the profound significance of color in their lives and express their unique perspectives through art.
At the heart of ROYGBIV lies a dynamic concept: each participating artist has the opportunity to showcase one or more works of art featuring a color from the spectrum to guide their creative journey. Through this approach, artists delve into the emotional, cultural, and symbolic nuances embedded within their chosen hues, offering viewers a deeper understanding of LGBTQ experiences.
The exhibition features a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and more, all prominently featuring each of the colors from the ROYGBIV spectrum.
