As part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VJ Day and the end of WWI, Central Library is pleased to welcome The Royal Scots Regiment Museum. Who have organised a family history research centre to take place between the 12th and 15th August in the George Washington Browne room. With support from the National Records of Scotland, The Scottish Genealogy Society and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission it will be a fantastic opportunity to come along and find out more about your ancestors who may have been part of the regiment or if you are keen to learn more about the Royal Scots generally.
There will also be a small display and short film showing interviews, artefacts and photographs from the time.
