Royal Rooms & Storied Walls: An Evening with Holly Holden

"You Are Cordially Invited" to join the Nansemond River Garden Club on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 for an evening with international designer, preservationist, and Emmy-nominated PBS host Holly Holden. In her lecture, Royal Rooms & Storied Walls, Holly will take us behind the scenes of some of the world's most storied estates-including Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) and Blenheim Palace-offering an insider's perspective on the architecture, interiors, and gardens that define classical elegance. With wit, warmth, and depth of knowledge Holly shares more than design inspiration-she offers a philosophy of living beautifully.A Cocktail Reception held at Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts will begin at 5:00 pm followed by lecture and book signing. Tickets are $100 and proceeds benefit club community initiatives.Tickets are transferable, but not refundable. However, tickets will be fully refunded if the vent must be cancelled.
