A songwriter, singer, and guitarist residing in Northern California, Donald Beaman has released four albums. He performs both solo and with a backing band and has shared the stage with Jonathan Richman, Sharon Van Etten, Michael Hurley, Mdou Moctar, Marisa Anderson, William Tyler, Xylouris White, Shannon Lay, Mary Lattimore, Six Organs of Admittance, and Little Wings.

Prior to his return to the west coast, as a member of The Double, he was at the epicenter of the New York City music scene of the early to mid 2000s. The Double released three albums – including Loose in the Air, on Matador Records; recorded a John Peel Session for the BBC at Maida Vale Studios; and toured extensively throughout the United States and in Europe, sharing the stage with: Feist, The Black Keys, Interpol, M83, Ratatat, The Mountain Goats, The Go-Betweens, Cass McCombs, TV On The Radio, Blonde Redhead, and many others.

Centered around the songwriting of Matthew Johnson, Natural Bridges pairs heartfelt lyrics with the golden glow of classic pop for a timeless sound that recalls the best music of the 60’s and 70’s, sounding like lost classics dug from the depths of the dollar bin. Johnson writes with a warmth and sincerity rarely found in music these days, painting portraits of everyday life and imbuing them with profound resonance, each song a perfect snapshot of a single moment frozen in time. At once melancholic and hopeful, his songs are charming and endlessly endearing - they will stick with you like a good friend.

Mia Wilson is a singer-songwriter from Southern California whose eponymous debut album is set to be released on November 14th 2025 by Royal Oakie Records.
