Hello my friends.
I wanted to let you know that we will be playing a very special show in Guelph on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30. It is part of a fundraising series for the Royal City Mission, which is a beautiful old church in downtown Guelph. In the basement, they feed the homeless every single day, and upstairs they have created a fantastic concert space with a large stage, lighting and state of the art sound system. We have been fortunate to have played there a couple of times before, but this show will be special.
There will be three world class guitar players at this show, Adrian Raso from Guelph, Jimmy Robinson from New Orleans and Gavino Loche from Sardinia. These three have been doing collaborations for a couple of years now. I have included some youtube clips below.
We are deeply honoured to have been asked to open this show. It is a new height for us to perform with these professionals.
Tickets are $40 each and will be available at the door. I will check to see if you can buy in advance online. Let me know if you are coming, and I will make sure there is room for you. Seating is not reserved, so first come, best view. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.
