What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING: Mulch around the school, backfill and possibly seed around door 9 (as you're looking at door 9 you will see to your right that off the sidewalk the land has eroded and you can basically see the bottom of the sidewalk), Backfill and possibly seed around a juniper tree on the back corner of the playground blacktop (if you're standing at homebase on the kickball field and looking at the building, it's just to the left of the brick wall). There is also a tree to the left of the juniper tree where the roots are showing that needs some dirt, and fill in or re-seed the grass behind and to the side of the picnic table.

CLEANING: Clean the wall facing the blacktop by the kickball field where the chalk has not been washed away.

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows (3 needed)
• Rakes
• Shovels / Pitchforks
• Trowels
• Shears

***PROYECTO PARA FAMILIAS***

El número de voluntarios para este proyecto se basa en adultos y niños mayores de 11 años. Se anima a los niños más pequeños a que asistan con sus padres, pero el registro NO ES NECESARIO para cualquier niño menores de 10 años.

¿Que tipo de trabajo estaré realizando?

JARDINERÍA: Cubrir con mantillo alrededor de la escuela, rellenar y posiblemente sembrar alrededor de la puerta 9 (cuando estes mirando a la puerta 9 veras a tu derecha que fuera de la acera el terreno se ha erosionado y puedes ver básicamente el fondo de la acera), Rellenar y posiblemente sembrar alrededor de un enebro en la esquina trasera de la acera del patio de recreo (si te paras en homebase en el campo de kickball y miras al edificio, esta justo a la izquierda de la pared de ladrillo). También hay un árbol a la izquierda del enebro donde se ven las raíces que necesita un poco de tierra, y Rellenar o resembrar la hierba detrás y al lado de la mesa de picnic.

LIMPIEZA: Limpiar la pared que da al asfalto junto al campo de kickball donde la tiza no se ha lavado.
