About this Event
We’re kicking off a new project and we need your help. It’s called the Circular Economy Strategy for Ulster County, and it’s setting the stage for some exciting new ways to think about how we consume (and eventually throw away) stuff in our local communities. The project begins with a series of Roundtables to share information and insights. If you are an Architect, Builder, Contractor, Designer and/or Engineer, please join us to share your ideas and experience, your skepticism and your enthusiasm!
While today we’re all hooked on a consumption-driven economy, we know that the future has to look different. It has to be more circular and less extractive. What does a circular economy look like? What circular practices are already taking place in your industry? What realistic steps can we take today that will help us aim at a future where circularity is the norm, rather than a fringe concept?
Please join us for this fascinating strategic conversation.
