The Roundhouse Aquarium’s Dolphin Committee invites the community to Exploring the World of Whales, an engaging presentation featuring global expedition photographer Kirill Umrikhin on Wednesday, March 4th at the Manhattan Beach Library.
This special lecture will appeal to anyone interested in whales, marine life, conservation, or wildlife photography. Through breathtaking images and firsthand stories, Umrikhin will take audiences on a journey across the globe – from the Arctic and Antarctica to remote whale habitats in the Aleutians and Mauritius.
Attendees will learn about a wide range of whale species, the problems facing whales and dolphins both locally and globally, and Kirill’s unique path as an expedition photographer documenting wildlife in extreme environments.
