Transport & Address:

We will be working at Round Wood. We will meet on site at 10am and finish at approximately 1pm. We will meet on the open space off Round Wood Road. Free parking is available. The nearest postcode is: HP12 4HE. Look out for our truck.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:

Our main task today will be to install our new ladder board. We also need to fell the dead ash trees, create wood chip and also mill some of the wood to be used as benches.

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!

10.15: Work begins

11.30: Tea & coffee break

13.00: Work finishes, time to go home!

What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
