Join me on a lovely hike up to Round Mount and on up to the Castles. This hike has wonderful views of the rest of the Cooley Mountains and will be a mix of forest trails, mountain paths and part of Foyles Way. We will be starting from the Lumpers Bar. There is a parking charge for the pub carpark and limited free parking across the road so carpool where possible 😀 The route we are taking has some good strong uphill sections so a decent level of fitness is required in order to keep us mobile in the colder weather. Proper footwear and clothing are essential. No jeans or runners.
Duration: 3.5-4 hours approx
Difficulty: Decent fitness required.
