Round 3: Bowling Green KY celebrates America 250 Challenge Coin Sale
About this Event
Created to commemorate America’s 250th in 2026. The first round of pre-order coins sold out, this is the second round of pre-order coins. These coins join Downtown banners, July 4th giveaways, and the new Liberty Tree at Pioneer Cemetery as part of the celebration. Bowling Green was named for the New York City park where colonists toppled a King George statue and famously melted it for American Revolution musket bullets. Warren County was named for Revolutionary War General Joseph Warren, the man who dispatched Paul Revere on his famous night ride to tell the world, "The British are coming!"
Limited-edition Bowling Green challenge coins are available for sale for $10 each, or $15 with shipping & handling—limited quantities, so grab yours while they last! Coins purchased at the $10 rate must be picked up at the Neighborhood & Community Services building (707 E Main Ave) at a designated time, with email notification when ready. Shipped orders will receive an email from us asking them to confirm their shipping address, then tracking via email once sent. This fundraiser supports the City’s free, accessible Downtown programs, with all proceeds helping bring free family-friendly events to life. No refunds are available. Eventbrite has a small processing fee for each coin order.
