🛠️ Rough Carpentry Advanced Workshop 🛠️
Are you ready to take your carpentry skills to the next level? Join us for our Rough Carpentry Advanced Workshop on November 1st at 1:30 PM, held at 5151 Loraine St. Detroit, MI.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into more advanced rough carpentry techniques by:
🏠 Building and installing steps for a front porch, learning the process of framing and securing outdoor structures.
🔨 Constructing new walls for interior home spaces, including how to properly frame, connect, and square them for new construction or remodeling projects.
We’ll be working with materials such as:
2x4 and 2x6 dimensional lumber
Plywood and OSB sheathing
Nails, screws, joist hangers, and construction adhesive
All power tools, hand tools, and PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided — just bring your work clothes and be ready to build!
💵 $70 per workshop or $120 for 2 workshops (morning or afternoon sessions available).
