From the fetid vampire lily to the corpse flower to the strangler fig, these glorious specimens will haunt your Halloween dreams and inspire your own dark garden. We’ll learn about their names, habits, magic, and medicine along the way too.
Varla Ventura is the author of several books on the bizarre, folklore, and creatures of the night including Varla Ventura’s Paranormal Parlor and Fairies, Pookas, and Changelings. Her newest book Enchanted Plants is an exploration of fairy and folktales through a botanical lens.
