Rotorua Emerging Leaders Collective Launch

Join us for the launch of the Rotorua Emerging Leaders Collective (RELC), a new network established by the Rotorua Business Chamber to bring together people who are developing their leadership skills and looking to make connections across our business community.
Whether you work in a trade, run a business, manage a team or are taking your first steps into leadership, this is an opportunity to meet others who are keen to learn and grow.
RELC is all about creating a welcoming, supportive community where emerging leaders can learn from each other, share experiences and form real connections.
Hosted by Ben Friis, Owner of Chris Smith Glass, and Jodie Wolfgang, Investment Advisor at Craigs Investment Partners.
At the launch, we'll hear from past Rotorua Emerging Business Leader Award winners, who will share their experiences as emerging leaders, the challenges they've faced and the lessons they've learned along the way.
Ashleigh Nairn, Owner of BurgerFuel Fairy Springs, will MC and lead the panel discussion featuring:
Renee Tapsell, Aotearoa Dive
Awatere Douglas, Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland
2026 Emerging Business Leader Award winner, to be announced at the Rotorua Business Awards on 31 October.
There'll also be plenty of time to meet other emerging leaders, make new connections and hear about what's planned for the Collective.
Looking ahead, RELC will host quarterly events focused on networking, professional development, learning and giving back to the Rotorua community.
Who can attend?
Emerging doesn’t necessarily mean young! There’s no set age range. It’s about where you are in your leadership development and connecting with like-minded people. And you don’t need to be a Chamber member to join the launch of RELC.
