Jesus Lane Friends Meeting House has a long history of everyday people volunteering time to prepare and share food.
Cooking and eating together is a wonderful way to meet, interconnect and share cultural experiences within a connected community.
This workshop is demonstrated by Giselda, Assistant Warden - Jesus Lane Friends Meeting House and Founder of Move, Feed, Be - Celebrating Individuality within Connected Community.
Giselda is Malaysian with South Indian ancestry. ‘Have you eaten?’ is how she was brought up to greet. Giselda believes home is where food/friendship/family is cherished and nurtured.
