Rotary Ponn Onam 2025

Onam is celebrated as a harvest festival to honor the mythological King

Mahabali of Kerala who is believed to visit his people every year during this

time. The festival showcases the rich culture and beauty of Kerala featuring

intricately designed Pookkalam aromatic Onamsadhya the spectacular

Snake-boat race and the captivating Kaikottikali dance. The vibrant

celebrations and festivities make everyone feel alive with the exciting beats

of music. Onam is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm by Malayalees and

others worldwide regardless of religion caste or creed.

Rotary International is a worldwide humanitarian service organization

composed of professional leaders with a common purpose: to provide

community service to those in need. Rotary 3191 has been involved in

numerous social causes for years consistently upholding the principle of

giving back to society. To support these activities the Rotary clubs at RI

District 3191 will be organizing Onam celebrations as a fundraiser for various

community-related charity projects.
