We are thrilled to welcome, Jessica Tien, Esq.!! Jessica C. Tien, Esquire, is the cofounder and President of Chase Zen Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization since 2014. This is an organization where mostly college students volunteer to go abroad to teach English and gain cultural experience during their summers. Ms. Tien is also a licensed attorney in the State of Florida since 1998. She works at the Office of the Regional Criminal and Civil Conflict Counsel and handles mostly juvenile child abuse cases. Ms. Tien is also the cofounder and the pro bono legal advisor to the Suncoast Asian Cultural Association, a non- profit organization best known for its competitive dragon boat team, SACA Golden Dragons. Education: Jessica Tien received her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in Florida, studied abroad at Cambridge University in England, and received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. She speaks Mandarin Chinese. Experiences & Interests: She worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. She served on the Hillsborough County Advisory Board for Children Services providing shelter care and educational services to needy children. She was a Guardian Ad Litem and an attorney ad litem for children who were abused, neglected or abandoned by their parents or guardians. She was a certified FHSAA (Florida High School Athletic Association) football referee for Tampa Bay area high school and Pop Warner Youth Football games.
