Will you join us on OCTOBER 7th to raise funds & awareness for WORLD POLIO DAY?!? We are sooo close to getting rid of Polio forever! You can help us by eating dinner at Village Inn St. Cloud from 5 pm to 9 pm, where 10% of their proceeds they will donate to the Rotary Club of Kissimmee Bay for our annual PolioPlus contribution!
Polio facts - Rotary has been a leader in the global effort to eradicate polio for over 30 years! Since 1979, the world’s polio cases have been decreased by 99.9%, prevented 16 million cases of polio, saving 1.5 million children’s lives and helped nearly 19.4 million people walk who would otherwise have been paralyzed. Polio exists today in two countries Afghanistan and Pakistan. Once we eradicate polio off the planet, it will be 1 of only 2 diseases to be wiped from existence! Help us #EndPolioNow!
