Rotary Club of Jasper-Passport Screens “Eva”

On Thursday, February 20th, the Rotary Club of Jasper-Passport will host its next Veterans Roundtable event. The event will take place at the Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper, beginning with a social gathering at 5:45 p.m., followed by a screening of the short film Eva at 6:30 p.m.

The film is set in WW2 1944 Bavaria, Germany, and on the home front in the USA. Eva was created to tackle the delicate subject of PTSD realistically and respectfully. Eva has a timeless message of redemption and hope for veterans, their families, and friends.

Afterwards, at 7 p.m., we invite you to join us for a relaxed, thoughtful, and open conversation on the challenges of PTSD and the path forward working through the experiences.

This event will bring together community members and veterans from all military branches to share their experiences, challenges, and insights on life after service.

The Rotary Club of Jasper-Passport and its President Darren Patterson, a veteran with 21 years of service in the U.S. Army, are also actively seeking out local service projects to assistveterans in their transition back to civilian life following a deployment, term of service, or retirement. The club is committed to supporting veterans through initiatives that help ease their reintegration into the community and civilian workforce.

Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served.
