Get countin' for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census right here in Roswell.
KRB and the City of Roswell invite you join us at Roswell Area Park on Aug 23rd from 10:00 - 12:00pm. The census will take about 15 minutes. Staff and volunteers will provide guidance as well as ID guides and counting sheets. A craft will be available to engage younger children.
Once a family completes the census, collect your prize - a voucher for a free pollinator plant from the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Fall Plant Sale (details and exclusions apply, while supplies last.) This event is free and open to all community members! Find us near the entrance of Roswell Area Park at the first parking area on the left.
The census is designed for residents of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida of all ages to participate. School groups, gardeners, families and individuals are all encouraged to be a part of the project. You do not need to be an entomologist to partake.
