🚶♂️🚶♀️ Your 2‑Day Challenge
Day 1 — Ramsbottom to Weir
We begin in Ramsbottom, heading anticlockwise over Scout Moor to Whitworth, then across Brown Wardle and Hades Hill before dropping into Sharneyford and on to Weir.
Highlights include Waugh’s Well and a spectacular skyline route above Whitworth.
Distance: 22.6 miles (36 km)
Ascent: 2,810 ft (855 m)
Time: ~11 hours
Day 2 — Weir to Stubbins
From Weir we continue to Loveclough, passing Clowbridge and Clough Bottom Reservoirs, then on toward the Grane Reservoirs and Musbury Heights. A final descent from Holcombe Moor through Buckden Woods brings us to Stubbins.
Distance: 20.8 miles (33.5 km)
Ascent: 2,395 ft (730 m)
Time: 10–10.5 hours
