Join us on Saturday, October 4th at 10 AM for DxE OC day of action for Rose's Law, an Animal Bill of Rights. We will be speaking out at Tiem Ga Vit, a chicken slaughterhouse in Garden Grove. They have the RIGHT TO NOT BE KILLED BY HUMANS! Hundreds of chickens are crammed tightly together in cages for hours and killed daily.
WHERE: Meet at McDonald's. 13971 Harbor in Garden Grove. We will walk over to the slaughterhouse from there.
WHEN: Saturday, October 4th at 10AM

September 29th marks seven years since the rescue of Rose — a single chicken whose story ignited a global movement demanding fundamental rights for animals. In her honor, and for the trillions of animals still suffering around the world, we are joining a Global Week of Action to elevate the urgency and drive the conversation about these 5 basic rights that we demand for all animals:
1. The right to be free - not owned - or to have a guardian acting in their best interest.
2. The right to not be exploited, abused, or killed by humans.
3. The right to have their interests represented in court and protected by the law.
4. The right to a protected home, habitat, or ecosystem.
5. The right to be rescued from situations of distress and exploitation.
Zoe Rosenberg is facing five years in jail for rescuing four sick and injured hens from Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry Slaughterhouse.
