Welcome to the Rosebud Bookshop - February Non-Fiction Book Club! For the month of February, we are reading Untypical: How the World Isn’t Built for Autistic People and What We Should All Do About it. Untypical by Pete Wharmby offers a candid and insightful exploration of life as an autistic person in a world designed for neurotypicals. Wharmby offers practical guidance on how we can create a more inclusive world for autistic individuals in our schools, workplaces, and communities.
This is an in person event taking place at R. de Cedofeita, 634. In this book club discussion, we will explore how our own environments might unintentionally exclude or overwhelm those with different neurological makeups, and what we can do to make the world more accommodating and supportive for everyone.
