Live music performance by Don Wright from 9am-Noon at the Rose District Farmers' Market. Don is a true musician’s musician. He has been playing guitar and singing in bands since 1975. Everything from Rock N Roll to Country to Blues. He enjoys music so much he wants to share it with everyone. As founder and past President of the Decatur (Illinois) Blues Society, he created a music scene for groups of all ages, by hosting Blues Jams, teaching Blues in the schools and coordinating family festivals and a variety of competitions. He has been invited to judge both local and international competitions including in Decatur, IL, Champaign, IL, St Louis, MO, as well as the five years at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Don is always willing to give others a chance to shine by hosting various open mics in the Tulsa area.
