Rope bondage is about more than just tying knots—it’s a practice of connection, trust, and creativity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to solidify your foundational skills, this workshop will introduce you to the essential knots and safety protocols needed to confidently explore rope with a partner or alone. Join us for an evening of learning, connection, and fun with Rrrob.

Essential Knots for Rope Bondage: Master the key knots that form the foundation of most ties. We'll go over the single-column and double-column ties, along with basic frictions and hitches. These fundamental knots are crucial for any rope scene, whether simple or advanced.

Rope Handling & Flow: Rope isn’t just about technique—it’s about how you handle it. Learn how to move the rope with intention, maintaining tension and control, and creating a smooth, fluid experience for both you and your partner.

Safety & Nerve Awareness: Safety is everything in rope bondage. We’ll cover the crucial areas you need to be mindful of, such as nerve zones and circulation risks. You'll also learn how to quickly release your partner in case of an emergency.

Communication & Consent: Every rope scene should start with clear communication. Learn how to negotiate scenes with your partner, ensuring both parties feel comfortable, connected, and informed throughout the experience.

Building Trust Through Rope: Explore how to build trust and intimacy through rope bondage. We'll dive into how rope can deepen emotional and physical connections between partners, creating a shared, mindful experience.

• Discussion and Practical Exercises: The workshop will include a mix of discussions and hands-on exercises. You’ll have plenty of time to try out the knots and techniques we cover, with guidance and feedback from Rob. Expect to tie and be tied as part of the learning process.
• Solo and/or Group Work: You can come alone or with a partner. During the exercises, you'll have the opportunity to switch partners, which allows for practicing with familiar partners and new acquaintances. This helps simulate both established dynamics and pickup scene scenarios.
• Dress Code and Interactions: Feel free to dress however you want, whether vanilla or ready to practice. Expect to interact with others for the exercises, at least in terms of communication and light D/s. More physical practice will be saved for the jam afterwards. We do not pair people up, and encourage guests to make friends and engage to their level of comfort ensuring that all are able to learn and grow. Couples can stay paired the whole time or practice with others if you so choose.
• This workshop is open to all gender identifications, sexual orientations, lifestyles, singles and couples. All experience levels welcome. 18+.
• Refunds must be requested 7 days prior to the event.
• Doors open at 7:30pm and close at 7:40 pm. Please be on time and text ahead if you are delayed.
• You are welcome to wear a mask throughout the duration of the event.
• We encourage all to engage chat via Plura before/after the event!

Stick around for our jam session, exclusively open to workshop participants. During the jam, you'll have the opportunity to practice your new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Rob will be available to offer feedback on the communication that occurs during scenes. This is a unique chance to cement these essential skills through hands-on experience, working and learning together in a fun setting.
