Join the Cruising Section on Thursday 24 September for a hands-on workshop exploring the traditional craft of Rope Mats and Thump Mats.
Arianne Flora and Iain Grassick will guide members through making these hard-wearing mats, with practical instruction and tips on their use aboard a sailing boat.
There’s no need to bring your own materials, with sample pieces supplied so everyone can have a go on the night. A complimentary cheese platter will also be provided.
All members are welcome. No registration required, simply come along.
