The Roots Sisters Revue is returning to the Country Soul Sessions!The Roots Sisters Revue is a joyous celebration of women in contemporary Roots music showcasing three different women's voices. Created by stalwart of the London Blues scene Aisha Khan as a way of showcasing some of the profuse female talent all too often overlooked, it brings Aisha together with two other vocalists in often unique combinations. For the October Country Soul Sessions, Aisha is joined by American vocalist Little Rachel, a powerhouse of a Rhythm & Blues singer, not often seen on these shores, along with the effervescent and life affirming Sister Suzie. Ably backed by the top notch Rajahs, a band comprised of some of the cream of UK Blues musicians, this show will be a one off and feature solo songs, duets and show stopping numbers with all three of the women. Don’t miss this……it’s going to be brilliant.
As if this wasn't enough, the bill also features Hotcha Paul & the Head Honchos.
