*Flowing Roots* is een workshopreeks die ons uitnodigt om terug te keren naar onze voeten—de wortels van ons lichaam. In een wereld die voortdurend in beweging is, vraagt gegrond blijven om aandacht en aanwezigheid. Hoe blijf jij stevig staan in de ritmes van je leven?
Elke dagworkshop verkent een ander aspect van beweging en belichaming. Ritme leeft niet alleen in muziek en dans, maar ook in hoe we ademen, voelen en verbinden. De reis begint met Flowing Roots en vervolgt met Roots of Staccato, Rooted Chaos en Lyrical, Still Root.

Al meer dan 20 jaar dans ik met mijn moeder, zus, broer en, toen hij nog leefde, met mijn grootvader. Dans is altijd een deel van mijn familie geweest — een manier om te verbinden voorbij woorden, om te voelen, te bewegen, te zijn. Nu nodig ik jou uit om het ook te ervaren ❤️ De Flowing Roots - reeks nodigt je uit om te dansen, te luisteren en te voelen. Each workshop explores a different aspect of movement and embodiment. Rhythm is not only found in music and dance but also in the way we breathe, feel, and connect. The journey begins with Flowing Roots and continues with Roots of Staccato, Rooted Chaos, Lyrical Roots, and Roots of Stillness.

Staccato invites us to focus outward,
moving with clarity and purpose. This
rhythm may stir up uncertainty or fear,
but by staying present with it, we meet
our shadow side with compassion.
Embracing this tension allows us to
release stress and let go of insecurity.
THE POWER OF A PEACEFUL END
As we bring our 5Rhythms wave to a close,
we invite you into a moment of deep connection.
I will sing for you—not to perform, but to create a
space where sound and soul meet. This gentle closure
helps you integrate a sense of calm connection to your Rooted Heart.
WHO ARE THE TEACHERS?
Katrien Mazijn is a certified 5Rhythms®, pianist, and music history teacher. As a professional musician, she blends 25 years of experience in bodywork — shiatsu, reiki, yoga, and meditation — with her passion for movement. The 5Rhythms® bring her fully into her body, offering a creative and meditative form of non-verbal expression that she loves to share.
Clara Cornil, her daughter, is a a 5Rhythms® teacher and singer who trained at the Mons Conservatory. Clara works as a
bridgemaker between science and society. For over 20 years,
she has been dancing the 5Rhythms with her mother, sister,
brother, and dear late grandfather. Dance has always been part
of Clara’s family — a way to connect beyond words, to feel,
to move, to be. Now she invites you to experience it too.
